I'd like to believe the story behind this thread is real, but SportsJournalists.com has burned me so many times with its tales of HR complaints and ass fucking that I'm just not sure I can buy it.

OTR, if you're implying I'm bootsing this board, you've made a very powerful enemy.

EDIT: I swear I wrote "bootsing," but it came out "bootsing."

2ND EDIT: I know the "EDIT" doesn't make sense, but what's transpired is very bizarre. Hopefully, someone else knows of what I speak. I don't want to come off as a lunatic.

I should've used the sarcasm font, PO. I don't doubt it happened.

One of the reporters here at my paper worked at McDonald's in high school.

I asked him once, "So do they really spit in the food sometimes?"

His response?

"Well, *I* didn't."

Nobody else was in the house after I bought the pies. My girlfriend left earlier yesterday afternoon. There were no rats in the fridge, besides, I doubt it could've reclosed the box that was still in the McDonalds bag.

Oh, good God. Eat it or don't. Why is everyone so complaint happy? It's not like an employee took a bite out of it in front of you and then stuck it in the bag. What are they going to do about it? Investigate? Take a dental imprint and send it to the lab?

I'm not complaint happy. Somebody took a fucking bite of my pie. No, the perp didn't take a bite in front of me and then stick it in the bag. The perp took a bite of it while I was in my car and stuck it in the bag. I'm not sure what that matters.

If they ate it, it's their pie. At the most, I would take it up to the counter tell them someone already took a bite out of it and I'd like a new one. But would I do that a day later? No.

If I wanted pie that bad, I'd go somewhere where they have real pies.
