I was JUST going to say I was paging BYH to this thread for the reappearance of Neil.

 

There's something about Brad Pitt doing a southern accent that's annoying to me. I'm sure he won't let that fact ruin his life.

Throw in yet another silly `stache, and the only reason I'm seeing it is because it's Nazis.

 

I didn't realize that Brad Pitt was supposed to be Jewish. That explains it.

 

I don't think the general public new what the Nazis were doing, but they were the enemy. That was probably enough for most people.

There were people in this country who had been told what was going on in the concentration camps. When they actually started believing the stories is up for debate.

 

Hell, even the Jews in Europe didn't believe it.

 

Lots of German Resistance stuff lately with this and Valkyrie and Defiance.

 

NAZIs are the current stand-ins for Middle Eastern terrorists.

 

That's what I'm saying ... until we actually got into Germany and saw the concentration camps first hand, I don't know to what extent we knew what was going on. It's not like the top Germans were broadcasting the Final Solution.
