Tampa Tribune preps coordinator

    fair amount of writing: one or two columns per week. game coverage, notes participation and feature/themer expectations. lots of editing, too, of course, and all the planning.

    salary range tossed out earlier (40ish) is about right. might even be a tad high. as for knight, he's doing a similar thing at the SPT, but in a different county. that's my understanding.

    then why make me waste my $.83 in postage and the other loot I spent on copies? Just make the damn internal hire and call it a day.

    Shouldn't that internal hire open another preps job? Where's that opening?

    You should spend the extra 3.20 and get priority mail. Looks cooler.

    or even go all out with next-day delivery. that way when you don't get the job, at least you did it in style

    Hold your horses on this one. From what I understand there is an interim co-ordinator who has been put in place because the prep football tab is looming and they need someone to run the point. As far as permanence is concerned, I know internal candidates are hopeful, but nothing has been guaranteed at this point.
