Here's what karma should have to say about this: FSU puts together a miracle run this year, all the way to the BCS game. Interest is at an all-time high. Where's the Trib's coverage? Oh yeah, they're picking up 12-inch Gannett "features" from Tally.

    That's going to help circulation.

A miracle run for FSU this year might be nine wins and a division title.

I thought Pensacola was Gannett, like Florida Today in Melbourne.

  5. tallahassee became gannett a few years ago when k-r swapped detroit and tally for the papers in the northwest.

Thing about FSU coverage is, you aren't going to get much more from the AP.

FSU was already not well covered for a program that's as significant as it has been. State of Florida TV outlets practically ignore it, and there's little radio coverage either. Now a major paper taes a pass - this is ridiculous.

Why not just hire a talented kid from the J-school as a stringer to serve as the Tribune's "bureau" in Tallahassee?

    Don't believe FSU has a J-school.

What this really shows is how badly FSU has fallen in the land of college football

They should have hired Jenn Sterger
