Taking a page from Milton's (drink) playbook

So, as I slouch in my recliner, I'm taking a page out of this guy's play book.

I cored a pineapple after supper and decided to use the shell for a drink.

Into a blender, I tossed some of the pineapple juice, two lobes of an orange, four strawberries, a glop of cream of coconut, three double handfuls of ice and four fingers of Smirnoff.

After the blending was complete, I was quite disappointed with my creation. Terribly bitter. I whipped up a half cup of simple syrup, tossed it in and blended again.

    Much better this go-round.

So, here I sit, 20 degrees outside with a pineapple hull, a frou-frou drink and a red Swingline stapler. But not $300,000 in traveler's checks to take to a competing resort.

    Who's got neat drink recipes?

Good idea TBF to knock down a few in case the wife delivers tonight.

Not getting plastered. Just knocking down the edge, thanks.

I saw that movie today. It's one of the few that make me laugh every time I see it.
