    Actually, that last comment came off more mean than I intended. I certainly don't blame you or farmers. But ethanol mandates need to be stopped soon. Like three years ago soon.

    You know, I'm actually in agreement with Yawn and Old_Tony on this, despite Inky's high-living lifestyle. Of which I am in full support of.
    Anyway, ethanol needs to go away and sooner rather than later.

    Hindsight being 20/20, America should have never trashed the nuclear power program after Three Mile Island.

    We should all be driving electric cars right now.

    In re: the thread title, if by "environmentalists" you mean "Cargill" and "Archer, Daniels Midland," then you are correct.

    Indeed, my friend who holds some shares of Cargill (privately held, but offers stock to higher-level employees) reports that they are up 91% over the last year.
