wouldn't the simple solution be to have the ones who made the cut swim in competitions and the others just swim as a p.e.?

but i still love the real life "they work hard" usage.

How do you try out for a high school swim team? If you drown, you get cut?

A few weeks ago, I was doing a story on a team that is the defending state champion. I asked if she cut and she said she did. Swimmers had to be able to swim all four strokes legally.

That's what I was thinking. If you got cut, you practice but don't compete. Hell, just compete at home meets so they don't take up more travel space.

Honestly, the fact that they screwed up the kids a month into their semesters.

Other schools should be so lucky. In my state, I've heard of schools at the highest levels thinking of combining for football because they don't have the numbers. Quit yer bitchin'.
