One hundred years ago tomorrow, much of downtown Boston was inundated by a flood of molasses from a ruptured tank. Twenty-one people died.
One of those great forgotten early 20th century disasters that seemed to occur every other week somewhere.

I know nothing of this event, but in my book you got to get to White Castle before the weirdos show up.

It's expensive to live in Boston, so I'm assuming you will pay a lot for that muffler. And the cost will be prohibitive.

This story has the potential to generate a brilliant yet wholly inappropriate headline. As headline writing was never my strength, I hereby encourage others to come up with them.

This should’ve happened in the Ozarks, not downtown Boston.

Among the deceased were Mrs. Butterworth, 56, and her Aunt Jemima, 79.
