    Defense of Marriage Act should have never been signed into law. We would not need the discussion then.

    To understand if this is the best way to get things done. Civil unions perhaps in all instances? Just because something is constitutionally OK doesn't mean it's good or timely. There are cultural issues to deal with. That's where there's little understanding or dare I use the word, TOLERANCE, on BOTH sides.

    So your argument is that a Constitutional right should be denied because some people don't want it to be granted - on religios grounds?
