I don't doubt the Packers might be top 5, I'm just not sure how you'd measure it. I know the Packers were like eighth in merchandise sales last year, but I'm not sure how good a barometer that is

    I'm questioning that right now.

I would guess Green Bay is second. Dallas is first. Pittsburgh is probably right behind, but there's no way they're lower than third. Those have to be the top three.

There are Packer bars and Packer fans EVERYWHERE. When I moved to San Diego they were all over the place. People say they "travel well" but they aren't traveling. They just live all over the place. Much like the Cowboys. I haven't dealt much with Steelers fans but I'd guess they're about the same.

They were the same until five years ago. Then they won a Super Bowl and turned into raging assholes, a lot like the transformation of Red Sox fans.

Cleveland's fan base is enormous as well. Every large city -- and many not so large -- seems to have Browns backers clubs and watch parties every week.

And they do this despite the suckage. Steeler fans disappear when things go sour. I remember the late '80s. Didn't see black and gold anything outside of the Pitt metro area.

My gut is telling me to root for the Packers but my head tells me it's going to be another win for Big Ben.

    Steelers 31, Packers 24

    Merchandise isn't an indicator.
I doubt many rappers are Reds fans.
