I'd have a big problem recgonizing the Patriots losing before the Giants winning...

Is the biggest news the Giants win or the Pats loss?

Let's be fair. The one interception was tipped off the hands of his receiver and he made plays when his team needed them. Plaxico Burress only had two catches all game, so he's not going to get the MVP. I might give it to Justin Tuck otherwise...

To me, the bigger news is the Patriots losing. By far.

Others around here disagree, so we're going with Giants angle stuff.

Manning brothers get closer in becoming one with a ring each.

There's no doubt, the Patriots losing is the story. They were going for an unbeaten season. They didn't get it.

  9. I definitely think the Pats losing is the bigger story.
I'm not on the desk, but I would use Imperfect.

This is a classic journalistic choice between positive and negative. It's a huge story either way.

You go with a Giants-inspired headline, it's a positive way to view the story.

You go with Patriots, you're highlighting the negative.

    That said, if you're in N.E., it's a no-brainer.
