Give me a grand on Giants +12.5.... Give me a grand on Giants (+170) +7.5 ... and give me a grand on Giants (+325) to win.

you must be the richest sportswriter ever to bet 3 grand on a game.

Hey... I asked you to GIVE it to me.

Last time I had a feeling like this, I peppered a major chunk of change (not quite 3 Gs) on Denver in XXXII against the Pack ... spread (+12)... shortened prop spread (+7) ... and money line.

I'm playing with house money still from that one (though I would be set for my SB bets for years if my Ravens-Giants parlay had come in.... it was ruined by 21 points in 36 seconds).

A 325 money line and a 12.5 spread leaves the potential Giants bettor with significant arbitrage opportunities.

Lots of meat in the middle.

I'm not touching this until we find out more about Brady's foot. In the unlikely event Matt Cassels is the starter, all bets are off.

I think the Pats win outright but the Jints cover. Plus 12.5? If I had disposable income, I throw a little bit of it that way.

I'm going to start before Matt Cassels does.

So how would you playing quarterback affect the line? That's the question we must ponder.

Even more reason for Giants backers to jump on this now.

I've seen the houses where the guys who set the lines live, and I've seen the houses where people who bet the lines live.

That tells me all I need to know.
