The Panthers were the best team in the league all season and that 17-1 record counts for a lot. But last week wasn't so long ago, and the general dismissal of the Broncos is EXACTLY the same shit we heard before the AFC Championship Game. My God, here in Boston, the general assumptions are 1. Panthers win 77-0 and 2. Patriots return to the Super Bowl next year because they'll make sure to have home field advantage in the playoffs. It's something to see, arrogance after a loss.

Right. Their only loss by more than one score and it was in large part due to Manning throwing four interceptions in the first half. My point stands, this team does nothing but play close games. They also seem to step up against the top teams they play. I think this game is the same as the others. The wildcard is obviously turnovers.

This is a horrible matchup for Denver. Carolina's defense is fast and will be all over Manning's throws. Newton is just so damn talented that you really can only hope he fucks up on his own. Newton might run for 100 yards.

Carolina will lead at some point by more than 20 points but win by 10 after a couple late Denver scores.

Should there be a thread about the lame articles and features for the lead up to Super Bowl L?
