I was listening to Rev. Al's show on MSNBC on XM radio yesterday and he was reading from the TelePromTer and he was rambling on and suddenly said "full screen here..."
and kept rattling on.

When I was in the control room, we'd call anchors like that "promptermonkeys" but I don't think I'd call Rev. Al that.

 

I'm trying not to burst out laughing here in the office. That was great.

 

I think a number of the NYC anchors who do the 6 and 11 newscasts have been spotted throwing back a couple during the break between shows.

 

This unfortunate reporter works at the same affiliate as my dad. For some reason, the initial appearance of the camel just kills me.

 

The papers say Sue Simmons was making $5 million per year.

Happy retirement, Sue. You're better equipped for it than I am.
