Did anyone catch the hidden-ball trick Maryland pulled against UNC yesterday? That was pretty sweet.

Virginia not looking likely to need sudden death today. (Knock on wood.) Steele Stanwick is putting on a clinic with 1 goal and 4 assists at the half. Wahoos lead 10-4.

Things can change in a hurry in this game, but UVa has done an incredible job on Pannell.

Yeah, Cornell's clawed their way back into it, and Pannell is starting to assert himself.

I'm going to be down there at M&T Bank Stadium next Saturday night, and it would be a letdown if Hopkins isn't playing before its home crowd.

Still, Denver is really playing a high level of lacrosse right now.

Denver gets a much-needed goal to stop Hopkins' momentum a bit. A Hopkins-Virginia rematch would be fun. The first game was a good one.

Let me tell you, a double-fault final-play elimination hasn't occurred since the Helsinki episode of 1919, and I think we all remember how THAT turned out!

I knew a guy who bet 10 grand on a Notre Dame-Loyola women's lacrosse game back in '85. Won a bundle when Notre Dame won 19-0. Never was able to lay a bet in that town again.
