Love to hear about a couple of the "stupid" ones . . . and I doubt I'm alone.

Not looking to bust balls.. Curious.

Virginia governor Tim Kaine just signed legislation that repeals the high fees on abusive drivers who live in Virginia. Sanity among politicians for once.

Crazy day for this thread to pop up again.

A sniper is on the Virginia highways... again.

  4. I'd take a flesh wound rather than one of those fines.

Knowing as much about the fines and how they worked as anyone here, I still say they're a good idea in theory.

You are going to see a LOT more physicality applied to these troopers.

Nah, the troopers wouldn't write them out, which is why they never took. Plus a bunch of judges ruled the fines were unconstitutional, while a judge in the next county over would rule that it was legit.

Talking, repeatedly, to the guy who came up with the idea changed my tune. It's just a matter of turning an idea into a reality and that didn't happen consistently.

I saw a Virginia vanity plate today. It read: "KY GAL."

"One can only hope she was actually from Kentucky," my wife opined.
