    Exactly. It's not a big deal to me if scalpers do this for concerts or sporting events geared towards adults, but to do this something for kids is just pathetic, especially since the tickets were virtually unavailable to the public in Atlanta.

    Exactly. $1,000 is the same as $100 to a kid. They don't have it anyway.

    So whether it's Billy Joel or Hannah Montana, the question to the adults is the same: How much do you want it?

    One is not more egregious than the other.

    About ten years ago, my daughters first concert (she was 8 or 9) was a Spice Girls concert. I have no idea, this many years later, how much the tickets cost, but I remember how happy she was that she got to go.

    Of course, the Spice girls are reuniting soon, and she wants to go again. Pretty sure she's gonna have to pay for the tickets this time. ;D
