Do the women of SportsJournalists.com prefer leaving the crusty end on the bread or cutting it off?

That's what happens when I eat high-fiber cereal.

The town KYSportsWriter and I work in has four Subways. The one Blimpie closed like 8 years ago. The one Quiznos, on the most heavily traveled road in the county, closed three years ago. Don't have a Jimmy Johns or Potbelly.

Be interesting to see if McAlister's survives after opening like 3 months ago.

You both live in KY? Who'd-a thunk it? The only redeeming quality of Subway is the quality of the food in relation to the price. Those other places are so damn expensive. I love Quizno's and FireHouse Subs, haven't eaten at Jimmy John's much. We have some good family-type delis that are almost as cheap as Subway, but much better. Subway is just cheap and convenient. And the Wawas will be opening soon in my neck of the woods. Hear they have pretty good sandwiches.

Quiznos just tastes too burnt and bready. Subways are fine, but I guarantee that there are manymany hole-in-the-wall sub shops that make 'em better.
