On heels of Teo scandal we now learn that the Subway footlong is really 11 1/2 inches.

Big expose in the NYP this a.m.

The $5 footlong not all it's cracked up to be.

For perpetuating this traveshammockery I think Subway should be forced to reinstate the Subway stamps program. I cleaned out a junk drawer a couple weeks ago and found a few of those stamps. I ate many free sandwiches because of those. One Subway, where I was a regular, would give me the stamps that should have gone to the person in front of me if they didn't want them -- which happened more often than you'd think.

Size matters. Or so I am told.

Subway, though, is one case where less may be more. Give me Blimpie, Quiznos, Jimmy Johns, Potbelly or almost any other chain sandwich place instead.
