Noticed that there were a couple of posts on the Jobs Board taken from listings on jobsinsports.com, which you have to pay for to read.

Are sites like that and workinsports.com (I'm sure there are plenty of others as well) worth the price? Are certain openings or types of openings listed on these sites that wouldn't be found anywhere else?

    Thanks.

I've checked out WorkinSports about a year ago. It was alright. It seems that JobsinSports has more jobs, but sometimes the info is either incomplete or it contradicts what's on the company's/league's/team's site.

Such sites are OK if you're looking to break in and have no contacts, but I believe you're better off trying to network your way in.

Back when I was job hunting in '03 I signed up for a month for jobsinsports.com. The problem I had was the postings didn't have dates, so you had no idea how old they were. Not my idea of a well-run service. Not sure how it is now.
