Stupid Mac Deletion Question

    Is it possible the folder is locked and won't allow you to modify it? Find the folder, highlight it, hit apple-I for "get info" and see if the "locked" box is checked. If not, you might also need to look for the "ownership" area of "get info" and change "read only" to "read and write."

    Jonesy -

    In your main 'Documents' folder, look for another folder called 'Apple Works User Data'. Inside that folder might be another folder named 'Auto Save.' Open it. Are these the files you want get rid of? If so, now you can drag 'em to the trash. I think. At least I can on mine.

    And check with the Smithsonian first, before you delete anything. They're gonna want more for that Jones Diorama in 2040 than just a bong and your pajama bottoms.
