My wife and I are vegging out on her Snow Day and watching Gilmore Girls. Rory is trying to convince Smokin Hot Lorelai that she can take out student loans to go to Yale, b/c "that's what banks are for." Funny.

But then she says that in order to land a job that allows her to pay back said loans, she'll change her major to business, to which SHL yells "You are not changing your major from journalism!"

To which I yell "YES YOU ARE!!!"

Sigh. I think I'll start binge drinking.

I want to go to every college journalism class and slap every student taking them right across the face. OK, maybe not all of them -- no harm in learning about the subject -- but the ones who are journalism majors for sure.
