The article didn't make any claims of racism.

Apparently the NBA is sending this man undercover to investigate.

So as I'm watching the opening minutes of the final game of the Nuggets-Spurs series I must reiterate that the study in question is quality work. ::)

Thank you, Pope Dirk, the Moynihan quote pretty accurately covers it. Boots, when you essentially suggest that the study was calculated in a manner that is provably and obviously untrue if you just read the thing, you are NOT asserting an opinion, you are asserting a falsehood. Sorry you can't seem to comprehend the difference.

The article does claim racial discrimanation - isn't that the same thing?

Did anyone catch OTL today? Eddie Johnson explained really well. You can't tell just by looking at a whole bunch of box scores. You have to see the body language of the refs. And sometimes, you have to take into account the fact how some players play ball. Some are more aggresive than others.

Again, how many of these calls against black players were actually calls for black players -- such as when Kobe Bryant gets two free throws after Dick Bavetta calls a foul on Raja Bell?
