Researchers polled a bunch of people and found their brains are more likely to die off if they hold religious beliefs outside the mainstream, or if they drastically alter their belief systems during their lifetimes:

SJ's religion haters (Democrats) will have a field day with this one.

"I knew Mitt Romney was retarded!"

Actually, the study notes that those with NO religious beliefs have the same issues. The link is having religious beliefs outside a perceived mainstream, not the nature of those beliefs.

So pick a religion early and stay with it or you'll get the stupid.

There was a time when spinning27 was kicked off the site for posting stuff that wasn't nearly as hateful as this.

But something tells me nothing will happen to you for this post. I wonder why.

It sounds as if some people here changed their religion lately

And no, if that post gets someone kicked off the site (something we don't do unless someone goes completely off the rails; which is not very often), we are going to have to kick about half the people on here off.

I just hope the brain doesn't atrophy as a result of working in close proximity to people with religious beliefs outside the perceived mainstream.

If that's the case, we'd have to worry about several SportsJournalists.com members.

So is that the trick? You can insult entire groups of people as long as you don't single out any one person?

So saying something like "All Republicans are racist lemmings" is OK since I didn't name any individuals?
