Do you feel that you are stuck in a dead-end job? Do you feel there is no room for advancement at your particular location?

I'm not looking for advancement, so it's a moot point.

    I did. Not anymore.

  6. Are you fucking working for Cosmo, Boots? How much do you get paid for all of these polls of yours and do they know you're getting all of your info from a sports journalists message board?

I definitely did at my last shop. But it was more than just not seeing room for advancement at that paper. I felt like there wasn't much flexibility in the field, so I went back to school.

Just got to my new shop, but I think there a few steps up the ladder I can take. Whether I want to or not....

Actually, at the current spot I have the serenity of knowing I have options.

I choose to do the thing I'm doing, which may some evidence of insanity.

I would like to take a step back, minus the pay cut, however. and I can attest to hejirahenry's insanity.

I tried that, minus the "minus the pay cut" part.
