  4. Sure you're home by now, but here's another vote for Luke's. Also, if stranded in Fort Lauderdale, definitely go get a burger and beer at LeTub in Hollywood.

    I forgot of one Italian place I go to if I'm staying in Center City - Maggiano's
    It's across from the Marriott and close to Reading Terminal.
    If you like Italian, this is a must go.

    it's a chain from chicago, i think. we have one here in our town. is ok.

    It IS a chain?
    Hmmm...thought it was a family place...glad you said that, I'll have to look to see where else it is.

    There aren't as many old style, red sauce Italian restaurants as there used to be in Philly.

    There are several Maggiano's in the DC area - one in Chevy Chase, one in one of malls at Tysons Corner.
