Oh, I saw “Sara Lee” in the title of the YouTube link and thought it was about fruitcakes or pound cakes.

Didn’t bother to click. Should have seen the “Hanes” though.

ESPN Mag did a big story on them a few years ago. Major Christian component to their act...they recruited at churches. Very Amway. No wonder Drew's politics are very deVos/Prince.

There's nothing strange about athletes doing a beer commercial, but this thread can't go past without a nod to the 1980's Rodney Dangerfield Lite Beer commercials. I saw Rodney live back then and one of the jokes that has stuck with me since was "Hey, you seen my Lite Beer commercials? My wife says since I started drinking Lite Beer I'm less filling but I taste better."

The Lite Beer commercials were awesome. But I really loved the Natural Light ads with Norm Crosby.

Here's one with Gordie Who... uh, Howe:

Frustratingly, I can't find a video of my favorite one, with Catfish Hunter (Norm first calls him "Catfood") throwing darts. The best part is the punch line, when Hunter inadvertently throws his dart through a window. Norm yells, "Bulls-ear, Catnip!"

When you've got Andy Warhol and Sonny Liston together, flaunt it.

Not a weird endorsement, but this series of ads cracks me up, except for the guy in the Native American headdress.

I heard that too and was like, WTF?
