55-year-old police detective says to a waitress at his regular pizzeria, "Instead of a tip, help me pick the numbers to play in the lottery this week, and if I win, we'll split the cash."

He wins $6 million. He lives up to his word, give the waitress half.

Why are you posting a link from 1984 that became a movie in the mid-'90s?

Although I suppose the fact that it caused me to think about Bridget Fonda in her prime was a plus.

Oh, shit I had no idea that was from 1984. Total fucking FAIL on my part. I just saw it on a friend's Facebook feed.

You know what's amazing about this? They made a movie in the early 90s about this very thing.

Can't believe how prescient they were. :D

    Two D_B's in one thread!

Or is this some kind of meta-post, i.e. a D_B re: a post within the same thread?

    Also, I'm just playing around.

I bet Robert Cunningham votes for Butkus over Lewis.

Looks like Lakers and Celtics are on a Finals collision course. Maybe get our first Magic-Bird Finals at long last. Can't imagine Lakers blowing it.

Also, can't see how Mondale has a chance against Reagan this fall.

Stop what you're doing ... Baby Jessica fell into a well. Cue national emergency.

If anyone has a DeLorean I could borrow to go back in time and un-post this message, it would be great.
