What happened tonight on ESPN's airwaves is exactly why you're full of doo-doo for even suggesting there's a conspiracy against Ball State or the MAC.

The MAC is a minor league compared to the major conferences. I saw the graphic and the only wins of note Ball State had were to Indiana and other MAC schools. Then they get beat by a program that just turned I-A a few years ago.

Maybe that talking head Chris Fowler knew something you didn't.

In a strange way, I kinda respected Whitlock this morning. Of course, that was before he completely backed off his Sean Avery column this afternoon on The Fan 590. Honestly, he backtracked so quickly I'm completely convinced his testes ascended.

What's the backstory on backtracking from the column?

Ball State Derangement Syndrome is highly contagious.

Embarassment now, or larger embarassment, later.

If Boise State vs. Ball were a fight, they'd stop it, and early.

As a note, Nate Davis (the QB who led them to glory) had the flu and was clearly not playing at the same level he had been this season. Buffalo played well and deserved to win, but I suspect it might've been different if Davis were healthy.

It's a fair point, but how many times have we seen guys enduring reported flu cases play out of their minds due to additional focus being brought to bear?

Why am I suddenly hearing Lindsey Nelson's voice inside my head?

Especially disturbing if you're seeing one of his sport coats in tandem . . .

Where's Ball State Bubbler to chime in on this?
