    No. An outstanding player, but Isiah, Yzerman, Barry Sanders, Al Kaline ... are iconic.

    As well as the team's co-owner.

    He's in a situation similar to that of Brent Sutter a few years ago. He can pick and choose from the job offers that come his way, or he can just say screw it and stay put in Windsor, which is his hometown.

    Strange as it sounds, Bob Boughner is not ready for the NHL. For an AHL job, yup. For an assistant's, yup. But just not a heckuva lot of time behind the bench.

    There is also a salary cap in the NHL. They don't worry about that in Windsor. :)
