Good, so when she throws it at your head, you can get your money back.

First of all, JR needs to get his ass kicked for misspelling Stevie Y. Secondly, I've been a huge Wings fan my whole life, but now I'll never watch another game. This is a sad, sad day in Motown.

Detroit has been extremely lucky in the last 30 years to have great athletes who were even better people. Joe D and Alan Trammell also fit the bill, but nobody in this city equals Stevie Y.

Thank you for all you have done, sir. You're already sorely missed.

We'll know it's really serious if he misspells "Shanahan" or "Bolland." ;)

Actually, it's everyone else whether he wore 99 or not.....

The typo (as opposed to misspelling) has been fixed.

But thanks to all my friends who pointed it out.

And with his retirement will come the obilgatory "What a great player" columns in tomorrow's paper.
I have the feeling, and a pretty good one, that one of them will have my head spinning and green bile flowing out by this time tomorrow.....

    Lemieux also got an exemption.

Yzerman might've been the top player in the league in the late 80's or early 90's if it weren't for Lemieux and Gretzky.
