Just saw a lot on Twitter about this from NFL folks.

He suffered a seizure a few weeks ago in K.C. Can't believe he's 68. Obviously a guy, along with his dad, who's hugely responsible for lifting the league's popularity in the 70s, and helping the league become the dominant force it is today.

    Damn

    Just hoping for the best...

  3. The league and NFL fans owe Steve and his dad a lot. Wish him a quick and full recovery.

Did it happen right after the Super Bowl?
Poignant clip from "Inside the NFL" of Steve telling his staff the day before the game that his dad had just been elected to the HOF. He told them Ed had been a lot more sick around Thanksgiving than he let on, and had told Goodell that weekend Ed might not make it to SBXLV.
NFL Films without a Sabol is not something to contemplate.
