Macs are about as virus-proof as Windows XP was crash-proof.

Apple can go up or down 2 percent at the snap of a finger -- as can all big tech stocks (Netflix, Google, Amazon). General thought is there's a tech bubble right now the way there was in the late '90s-early '00s. Jobs may have given people more reason to notice Apple in the last 24 hours and volume is heavier than usual, but the price fluctuation is pretty mild.

They were doing what their American brethren at CNBC do, pulling reasons out of their ass to explain things that really don't need explaining. Apple is currently down 0.46 percent. The Dow is down 0.98 percent, NASDAQ 1.23 percent and S&P 0.91 percent. So either Steve Jobs has made a miraculous recovery in the last four hours or the stock move wasn't all that remarkable to begin with.

I was a little put back by how all the stories seem to be a RIP. I know the guy is seriously sick, but he is still above ground.
