SAS is so done with the Steve Czaban show.

Fortunately, we in the 'Plex will miss being graced with the presence of SAS, because the local affiliate inherited the morning show (and the mega contract) when it flipped a year ago.

And I thought colossally bad personnel decisions were limited to print.

Czaban said in that BLOG! that he was told by the higher-ups that his show sounded too much like Mike & Mike. Ridiculous.

I was impressed with Tom Looney's NFL round-up on FSR, a hell of a lot of work writing the script, preparing the sound etc. And it sounds like he does it by himself. He could dial back the voice a bit and not sound so much like a cartoon.

Well this is a match made in heaven -any network that employs J.T. the Brick has long ago stopped being taken seriously

I don't understand all the love for Czaban. I'm no Steven A. fan, but Czaban's show is awful.

Decisions like this are why Fox remains Fox. Another reason to avoid that network entirely.

Hearing JT the Brick in his Raider apologist mode is pretty funny. He'll rip Romo, the Cowboys, the Ravens, the Falcons and hold his fire against the Raiders because he gets a check from him. Sad and funny at the same time.

    They cannot be serious.

FWIW, it's Fox in name only; the whole shebang is actually run by Premiere Radio Networks/Clear Channel. At least according to the checks they used to send me.

THis is really terrible news but I'm betting he ends up somewhere else soon enough...at which point I may have to finally break down and put XM in my car, cause his show is definitely the best sports talk on the radio.
