    Not going in that direction.

    SAS's presumption of authority on ANY subject other than the NBA remains laughable. Third down, anyone?

    Given the deal he got -- and given what the broad expectations were, as opposed to what was actually delivered -- in our mind, SAS remains one of the WWL's biggest historical mistakes of all time.

    He's very good at being bombastic on the air, which plays well with some people. I don't know about his writing; I don't read him because I care very little about the NBA. But good for him. If he can get someone to pay him an exorbitant amount of money for what he does, hallelujah and pass the toast.
