This has gone unnoticed but is worth noting.

With his visiblility, it certainly is.

I don't like Screamin's on-camera schtick and he is more often thought provoking and interesting with what he does as a writer.

He's more entertainer than journalist now.

I thought they'd let him go years ago. It shows how much I've been paying attention. I was stunned when I read last week when he made his LeBron-Wade-Bosh Miami prediction that he was still at the Inquirer. I remember him being demoted and I assumed he had quit.

He sued and got his column gig back, IIRC.

Since when did Screamin' A. ever guest-host "The View?" The article has to be wrong about that.

I wish he'd quit his radio show, too.

Unnoticed only if you're A) lazy, B) illiterate or C) both...

Only a day late, really, but still a D_B in terms of presuming inattention, when there was attention.

Why should we care about Screamin'A? . . . especially those of us for whom the NBA is merely a
mildly-irritating skin rash, for the most part.

Because the world doesn't revolve around you or me for that matter. There are people out here who have different interests. When you go to a store, you have a choice of selecting which product you wish to buy. When you watch TV or come to this Web site, you have a choice of what selecting what shows to see or reading about topic you like.
If being narrow-minded is your thing, that's cool. But why down others who may think differently?

Or if we just stopped caring about the guy.
