It's about time someone took the media to task for the Favre coverage. Too bad it was Stephen A.
People already think to tune him out, even though on this topic, he came across as even-tempered and insightful -- and long-winded (but what did you expect from SAS?)

Come on, TB, I'm not saying the two situations are identical twins, I'm just saying there are some interesting similarities:

Limbaugh -- Widely perceived as a blowhard.
SAS -- Widely perceived as a blowhard.

Limbaugh -- Commenting on something out of his sphere of expertise.
SAS -- Commenting on something out of his sphere of expertise (whatever that is).

Limbaugh -- Complaining about a quarterback receiving preferential treatment from the media.
SAS -- Complaining about a quarterback receiving preferential treatment from the media.

Limbaugh -- A White Guy whining about a Black Guy.
SAS -- A Black Guy whining about a White Guy.

    But other than that . . .

Besides, SAS doesn't hesitate to fan flames and play the stupid media game when the subject of speculation, rumors and innuendo is Kobe Bean Bryant. It's just that he's on the outside looking in, regarding a Favre feed-a-thon.
