Step One in the Barry Bonds Public Image Rehabilitation Movement

Barry volunteers for the Home Run Hitting Contest. he doesn't have to talk to the fans or journalists just to a few select ass kissing entertainers like Stuey and Berman.

Cameras can show him joking with his fellow players, wearing his hat backwards and just acting like a regular guy.

 

No matter what he does, I don't believe he can ever rebuild his image.

 

Do we get to see him injecting the HGH in the clubouse before the HR derby starts?

 

Seeing that Bonds has always been such a family man, he definitely needs to parade those kids around as much as possible. He actually should never be seen without at least one of them. And absolutely remember to not vent any rage-filled tirades at them with media present.

 

My suggestion for Step 2: DIAF

 

I thought his image control was sending out apologists to message boards to attack his critics.

Will Barry's good friend, Greg Anderson be able to attend?



Or, is he still rotting away on Contempt Charges for refusing to testify to the grand jury?

 

Barry could rehab his image by retiring. That would help a hell of a lot.

 

I don't know if you were kidding or not but I definitely think he'll participate in the HR Derby for the hometown crowd. My other prediction is he's out of it early. He hasn't fared well in these types of things in the past.

 

He would save himself for eternity by retiring at 754.
