Griffith is now in the state final for Class 3-A, which is either a damn shame or a win for the powers of a judge to grant an injunction.

They are now going to play the state semifinal on Wednesday night. If they win, I suspect that the state final will become a pretty massive cross-over national story. The Miracle on I-65.

Not a miracle if they lose.

Correct. If they lose, there's no miracle. So winning would be the miracle, not surviving the crash with basically no injuries.

Read the sentence again. "If they win" refers to whether Saturday's final would become a national story or not.
