Starbucks doubleshot....

Was wanting something cool, coffeelike and sweet, so I get this with the ginsent, guarana and B vitamins. The "energy" from this drink has me wanting, no, make that craving, a nap.

Evidently, I am a diabetic and don't know it. Anyone have similar experiences with these energy drinks?

 

Drank a red bull once; it tasted like gasoline. Haven't had an energy drink since.

 

This begs the question -- how do you know what gasoline tastes like?

 

You've never siphoned gasoline?

 

I would've said red bull tastes like sweetened piss, but then I could only imagine what that tastes like.

When I was a competitive cyclist I would slam a couple of the Starbucks Doubleshots literally right on the staring line. It gave me a heck of a boost without filling up.

 

A few weeks ago, I tried a Red Bull Energy Shot, which I'm told tastes the same as its regular product.

I like the Starbucks Frappuccinos you get at the c-store. That's plenty enough of a jolt for me.
