Hopefully this isn't a d_b since I'm feeling too lazy to do a search...

Star Trek had many characters who were avid baseball fans. Star Wars did not include baseball in any way.

    1. How could a person have that much free time? It's almost as bad as re-ranking songs from previous years' Billboard charts.
    B. He listed McCoy twice: as a pitcher under his full name and as trainer under his nickname.

    How stupid is this?

I mean, Data in middle relief? Who's gonna hit him? He's a freakin android!

Why wouldn't you have Yoda in the leadoff and Anakin batting cleanup? Yoda could easily draw a four-pitch walk, think about how small his strike zone is. And Anakin could just use the force to knock the ball out of the park each and every time. Seems kind of silly really.

Channeling my inner Star Wars nerd-dom:

I would say bat Anakin cleanup. Both before and after becoming Darth Vader, he swings a pretty mean light saber.

Definitely a pull hitter, judging by his light saber duels.

And R2D2 has the build to be a catcher. In fact, I do believe he resembles Marc "Booter" Hill a bit ... ;D

  9. Riker at catcher is a weird move also -- he's every bit of 6-4, and with those numbers (.170 and .235 OBP) it's a wonder he is starting ahead of the shorter, stouter Kirk (the brother).

    I mean, really.

Also, James T. leading the team in drawn walks? No way. Jim Kirk is a swinger, baby.

R2D2 has the build of a catcher, but I worry about his ability to fire it to second base. I feel he'd be taken advantage of by faster Star Trek runners.

R2D2 can throw from the crouch and has a great arm. Short, compact throw...
