No, you're not thinking of something else.

I haven't. No desire to throw any more money down his chinless maw. But I talked with a guy who saw it and he said it's not for the young kiddies.

I love Star Wars. I was at the midnight shows for all prequels, and I'll defend them (other than Attack of the Clones) quite loudly.

I will see this movie, mainly because of the fact that on the big screen it might look neat and be a nice two-hour diversion.

But I wish they would have left well enough alone. The series is over. Let the losers . . .errr . . . people who have time and interest in further adventures read the (mostly non-canon) books. Stop making movies.

But again, I'll see it, so: BBAAAAAAAAAA! BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I'm a frackin' sheep. Mucas has me hook, line and sinker. Woe is me.

If not for the young kiddies, then who the hell for?

Lucas had to work really hard to get to the point where he put out a Star Wars movie and I'm not going to bother to see it in the theater, but he managed it. I'll be waiting to see this one on cable.

  10. The kid and I saw it (Nick Jr. gave it a cautious OK for 5-year-olds, and she's already familiar with Star Wars through the original movies and the video game).

Wasn't bad. She handled it just fine. She really liked the female hero.

The experience would have only been better had 1) some asshole not moved the blanket I used to reserve our seats so he could sit there (kid needed a bathroom break) and 2) some woman not brought her newborn.
