I just came back from seeing Lewis Black in NYC and nearly shat myself from laughter. Basically, he equated GWB to Homer Simpson ("Whenever George starts to speak, the words come out, but in reality, he's thinking of the bells of an ice cream truck.") and nominated Santa Claus for our next president. I left off George Carlin b/c he'd win this poll unanimously. Am I forgeting anyone important?

I saw Carlin once not too long ago. Not so much funny as he was fucking brilliant.

I'd pay just about anything to see Black.
  3. Easily amused, aren't ye, Yank?

Yes, I am. Watching paint dry and grass grow are among my favorite activities.

P.S. If you don't agree, thats fine. People have their tastes, and to me, he's my favorite.
  6. Fixed that for ya.

Great standup. I don't like his show, though.

Ron White, if you can keep him away from the Blue Collar gang.

The fact Dane Cook is on this list negates it completely.

Saw Aries Spears recently . . .hilarious.

Before Jim Gaffigan, I never realized how hilarious mundane shit like Hot Pockets could be. :D

    Free advice to all:

NEVER go out with a standup comedian. Miserable, self-absorbed, completely loathsome.
