Standard-Reading Journalism Books

    Planned on picking up some books on journalism and I am looking for suggestions. Thanks in advance.

    Everything by Heinz is fantastic, but I was thinking more along the lines of standards and practices. You know, something north of a compilation of great works but something south of a textbook.

    This book almost scared me out of pursuing the field, but in the end, drove me to continue. This was a required reading in college.
