Stan Van sez: Howard wants me fired

I really wish they just re-aired the TNT halftime after each night's games. I would DVR the shit out of that. I already have my DVR record Inside the NBA following games, even if I don't watch the games beforehand.

 

I know SVG a bit from years and years ago, when he was fighting an unwinnable battle in the Big Ten. He's a good man who has always been able to keep perspective but he's a coach first.

I think he would be a far better "media guy" than Jeff Van Gundy, when it comes to being blunt and calling games but, after the years and years of this, I think Stan will go home, count his money and enjoy his time with his wife and kids.

Only, this time, he REALLY does want to "spend time with his family".

He's a good guy and has developed into a very solid NBA coach, especially since 2009. Shaq was not incorrect with the "Master of Panic" label during his Heat days. SVG would get very nervous, especially with Riles always around. But, in Orlando, he became his own man.

 

He can always fall back on his porn career. Nice to have options.
