I saw a similar message. Robbins abruptly announced his retirement, which the paper announced in a tribute story, but I never saw a public announcement of the sports editor leaving abruptly.

So what's up with that, St. Louis? And who is sports editor now?

I want to see a thread title named after a big city or large daily, click it, and have a first post that reads, "Things are amazing here. Ad sales are through the roof, circulation is sky rocketing, the suits are the best."

    A guy can dream.

Well, not all suits are bad. But the pack bears watching.

This is what newspapers are today: A really good sports editor (Reid Laymance) leaves the St. Louis Post-Dispatch while the poster boy for the Peter Principle (Gilberg Bailon) becomes the paper's editor. Welcome to Bizarro World.
