Then you gut the squirrels, quarter them and fry the legs and shoulders like chicken. It's dee-lish-ous.

Don't scrimp on the dumplings, either.

If you poison them, they may die in the attic and make a stink that won't go away even if you find the carcass and haul it off.

Best thing to do is figure out they are getting into the house and patching that hole during the day. Squirrels won't be in the house during the day since they are out looking for the nuts.

    In the attic lights
    Voices scream
    Nothing's seen
    Real's a dream

Leaving the things that are real behind
Leaving the things that you love from mind
All of the things that you learned from fears
Nothing is left for the years

    Voices scream
    Nothing's seen
    Real's a dream

Squirrels, squirrels, squirrels in the attic
Squirrels, squirrels, squirrels in the attic
Squirrels, squirrels, squirrels in the attic
Squirrels, squirrels, squirrels in the attic

Our squirrel dined on cat food as the cats watched helplessly.

    They can be bastards.

I had a family of squirrels living on my deck this spring _ Mom, Dad, three kids. It was fun to watch them _ until they found it necessary to start climbing on the screen door at 6:30 a.m. every day. They finally moved on, and I swept away their nest.

A couple of years ago, I had a red-tailed hawk who decided my deck was the best place to eye the prey in the big yard next to my apartment complex. Was there every day for about two months. I had no squirrel problem that year.

That's why my grandma keeps a Super Soaker on her desk during the summer. The squirrel's don't go for that bird seed so often anymore.

We have the humane traps up there now. The squirrels have 'em figured out: My wife watched as one stands in the door, preventing the door from coming down, while the other grabs the food.

And I think there's multiple entry ways now, so covering/finding all of them would be cumbersome.

My wife read this thread. She now wants a red-tailed hawk for Christmas.

Or paint the crow's tail red.

I think you ought to shoot the little fuckers if the humane traps aren't workiing.
