    Not sure this matters, but I'm pretty sure Boyer didn't travel with the team, if I remember correctly.

    Hammon will be considered the first female assistant. Boyer was on the Rockers payroll and didn't travel with the Cavs.

    Maybe it was part of his new contract. Bring in an ex to be an assistant and Hammon is more qualified than Eva Longoria.
