I hate to keep doing this, but there's no way to google it. Who is that?

The love child of Benny Hill and Ricky Gervais.

Or as he is known: Joba Chamberlain.

Red Sox-Yankees on ESPN America. Is it me, or would this have been a sellout a year or two ago, even in spring training? Steinbrenner Field barely looks half-full.

Yasel Puig, the Dodgers' $42 million Cuban, went 4 for 4 yesterday with a homer and triple.

He would have hit for the cycle but he didn't run hard and got thrown out at second on one of his hits.

Tim McClelland called several batters' worth of balls and strikes from behind the mound after the plate umpire in the Brewers-Angels game broke his hand.

    Video here. It's odd.

It only lasted a few outs, but it was still odd seeing those pictures of him behind the mound.

I remember my dad doing that occasionally during our Little League games when the other umpire failed to show up for whatever reason.

That happened a few times when I played LL as well. It was odd seeing it then, and it's odd seeing it now.

Tomorrow is 20 years (WOW, can't believe it was that long) since Tim Crews and Steve Olin were killed in the boating accident.

USA Today did a story on it today, but I was really impressed with Anthony Castrovince's story on MLB.com, linked here... does in the tone of talking to Steve and Tim and catching them up on what was missed. Really well done.
