    That'll depend on the candidate.

    Quick update

I'm just now starting to go through the resumes and packets. I've tried to keep all the applicants up to speed on where I am with this, but if you've not gotten an e-mail from me ... well, sorry about that.

Also, your chances of getting a job here just increased. A second opening is available. Another one of our writers is taking an SID position at the end of this year. So I'll be hiring two writers in the coming weeks.

Be patient. But if you can't be patient, feel free to e-mail, PM or call.

This thread got me thinking: What's the name of that rib joint downtown? I miss that place, whatever it's called. Best ribs I ever had.

    I suggest the Wal-Mart on Zero at 3 a.m.

  7. There was one on Phoenix Avenue .... Jerry Neal's the name, I think.

Pallister must be thinking of Neumeier's Rib Room, which is undergoing major modifications ... www.ribroom.com

The name Neumeier in the Fort is like Smith or Jones anywhere else.

  11. I know Scott Faldon. He's a friend of mine. And you my friend are no Scott Faldon.

(Actually I'ver never met or talked to the guy in my life, I just thought of the Dan Quayle debate and this line seemed appropriate.)
